Senior and Junior Coaches Wanted

SurfCoast FC is a fast growing and top performing club based in the Surf Coast, Victoria.

For the 2009 season, we require:

- FFV Provisional 3 Coaches 1sts and 2nds ,

- GRFA Men's 1sts, 2nds and 3rds ,

- GRFA Women's 1sts and 2nds ,

- U17 Boys, U16 Girls, U15 Boys, U14 Girls,

- U13, U12, U11 mixed

- Junior Academy Programs and Small-Sided Games Program assistants

We are an ambitious but family friendly and inclusive club wanting coaches interested in being part of building an exciting football future in our region.

Senior coaches will be assessed on qualifications, experience, and coaching approach and are required to submit a coaching CV.

Movie-makers win an award for 'The Surfcoast Cup'

The club has been awarded a $2,000 voucher at Rebel Sports to upgrade facilities and equipment. Instead of submitting a standard two hundred word letter of application to The Leader newspaper and Rebel Sports, Sunday men's coach Pete Bradley teamed up with Klaus Horner, a professional camera man who plays on Sundays. Pete drew up an entertaining script and then called for extras to play the part of clapped out players in a rundown field. Klaus filmed their capers and then edited it very well. No doubt their "application" won because the movie is entertaining.
